The third runway can not be built, we want to celebrate it appropriately. With a creative celebration for young and old. Dress yourself red and come over! The development of air traffic is a red line, which must not be crossed. A symbol that we refer to together with many climate groups and movements worldwide. Let us show together that many people are behind the decision of the BVwG!
At the beginning of February, the Federal Administrative Court (BVwG) ruled that the third runway at Vienna Airport can not be built for climate protection reasons. A world-unique judgment on climate justice. It gives the environment – the basis for all our lives – priority over economic interests. A scandal for some. But we find this decision forward-looking! This is also the focus of the climatecamp 2017: the expansion of air traffic is a red line – and red lines are not for crossing.
