„We need more growth!“ This is the main dogma when the economy is discussed. But how long is growth on a finite planet possible?
Between 4th and 24th February 2019 the exhibition „Endlich-Wachstum!“ (finally growth!) created by Fairbindung will be hosted in Vienna. The exhibition enables an interactive engagement with the issue of growth, its political and societal drivers and limits towards a sustainable good life for all. Besides a critical reflection of colonial continuities and green growth phantasies the exhibition wants to show and discuss alternative ways towards a social ecological economy.
With this exhibition, we as the education group of System Change, not Climate Change! Therefore offer a degrowth perspective, that sheds light on the limits of growth to deliver both a just distribution of resources and a sustainable society.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a an extensive evening program consisting of films, discussions and workshops – have a look at our event calender!

The exhibition is suitable for people above 14 and is free of entry. Unfortunately all content is in German but we try to arrange translation if you let us know in advance.
